Mountain Lane offers a variety of extra-curricular activities, both sporting and non-sporting. Extra-curricular activities play a big part in the life of the school and all pupils are encouraged to participate.
These activities take place before school, during the lunch hour and after school. Children and parents are informed about the different activities in the extra-curricular bulletins which contain all relevant information, such as the club leader, the day of the club and its finishing time.
We have enjoyed our first Code Club session! Thanks to Mrs Davies, Mrs Shaw, Mr Roberts, Mr Smith and Mrs Latham for giving up their time to help.
We have been coding using Scratch projects from the Code Club website and hope to continue with these projects over the next few weeks before moving onto HTML.
Have a look at the photographs below to see what we've been up to.

Year 3 pupils had fun recently during Science Club investigating their 'Fantastic Fingerprints'. The children investigated the patterns in their fingerprints using various powders from talc to charcoal.
Were your prints arches, loops or whorls?????
