In 2023, Mountain Lane reached a remarkable milestone - its 60th anniversary. We took great pleasure in celebrating this significant occasion in a variety of memorable ways, which we are excited to share with you.

We hosted a 60th Celebration assembly, which was attended by members of staff, pupils, governors, special friends of Mountain Lane, and Claire Homard, the Director of Education for Flintshire. During the event, many heartfelt compliments were expressed about the school, and the choir delivered an outstanding performance of three songs to commemorate this significant milestone.

Here you will find a delightful opportunity to listen to the choir as they showcase the songs they performed during the celebration assembly. The choir have worked very hard on their performances during Choir club ran by Mrs Walker, Miss Guest and Mrs Stringfellow.

To commemorate our school's significant milestone, a whole school photo was taken. This photo aimed to capture the essence of our school community as we mark 60 years of educational excellence. This will soon be displayed in the front office. 

Our new school magazine has been launched, and we are proud to present its first edition, dedicated to Mountain Lane and its 60th celebrations. The magazine has been crafted by a group of Year 6 pupils who attend the magazine club led by Miss Turley and Mrs Lloyd.
