Mountain Lane offers a variety of extra-curricular activities, both sporting and non-sporting. Extra-curricular activities play a big part in the life of the school and all pupils are encouraged to participate.

These activities take place before school, during the lunch hour and after school. Children and parents are informed about the different activities in the extra-curricular bulletins which contain all relevant information, such as the club leader, the day of the club and its finishing time.

Extra-curricular activities at Mountain Lane include:

School Council, Eco-Schools Committee, Charity Committee, Criw Cymraeg, Friends of Mountain Lane, eCadets.

Football, Netball, Rugby, Hockey, Rounders, Early Morning Running, Athletics, Cross Country, Cricket, Sports Club, Choir, Music, Magazine, Science, Code, Art, ICT, Spanish, Book Club, Cheerleading, Maths, Cymraeg, Film Club.

Activities vary from term to term. Each term there is a balance between the types of clubs on offer and the number of clubs on offer to Upper and Lower Juniors.
