It has been a very different term to start the academic year but we are so proud of how well the children have adapted and made the most of the opportunities they have had. Thank you to all the children, parents, carers, staff, Governors and extended Mountain Lane bubble, we couldn't do it without your unfailing support. We are looking forward to welcoming the children back on the 5th January.
For now though, it just wouldn't be Christmas at Mountain Lane without our signature carol. Take it away Year 6!
Please remember to follow social distancing guidelines.
If you have any of the main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), get a test as soon as possible. Stay at home until you get the result.
Main symptoms
The main symptoms of coronavirus are:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Most people with coronavirus have at least 1 of these symptoms.
If you or your child are feeling unwell and you are concerned over these, or any other symptoms relating covid, please dial 119 or visit the following website for advice.
