Autumn Term

Our topic was 'Y Goedwig Swynol' (The Enchanted Woodland). We had fun learning about some of the Gruffalo's woodland friends, investigating the changes in the seasons, exploring our school woodland using our map skills and thinking about the question ‘Why are trees terrific?’

Spring Term

Our topic was 'Cestyll a Dreigiau’ (Castles and Dragons), where we explored ourselves as citizens

of Wales, compared daily life in a medieval castle to our lives today, and perfected our castle drawing skills taking inspiration from a Welsh artist. We also had lots of fun celebrating Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant (St. Davids Day) and our school Eisteddfod!

Summer Term

Our final topic is ‘Superheroes’, where we are enjoying exploring the question, ‘What makes someone a superhero?’ We have been busy thinking about ourselves and others as real-life superheroes, designing our own new superheroes, and developing our musical creativity.

We are excited to explore the story of Supertato and meet his fruit and vegetable friends, while learning how superheroes can stay healthy by making positive choices about food, exercise, and wellbeing.
