Autumn Term -
Ffrindiau Ollie Owl (Ollie Owl’s Friends)
The children will be meeting Ollie Owl and finding out about him and his woodland friends. We will look at how they are similar and different to us and where they live. We will explore the season of Autumn and celebrate harvest.
Tegannau (Toys)
The children will explore a variety of toys from now and in their past. We will discover how toys move and work, and our likes and dislikes. This leads the children into the celebration of Christmas when we will perform a Nativity service.
Spring Term –
Y Dref Helpu (Helping Town)
During this term the children will engage with Nursery Rhymes and their characters to create a helping town. We will find out about different roles within the community who may help the children whilst also celebrating St David’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter.
Summer Term -
O dan Yr Mor (Under the sea)
We will develop an awareness of the creatures who live under the sea and the impact of pollution on their health. The children will find out about recycling and how to help the environment and living creatures around them. During this term we will celebrate Father’s Day.
Y Fferm (the farm)
The children will find out about the life of a farmer and the animals or crops they look after. We will explore produce from farms and discuss healthy eating.
