Meet the New and Improved Digi Owls! 🦉

We are thrilled to announce the official relaunch of our Digi Owl Committee! This year, the team is back with a fresh mission and a brand-new cohort of tech-savvy leaders from Year 2 through Year 6.

At our school, we believe that navigating the digital world is a vital life skill. The Digi Owls serve as our resident experts, dedicated to boosting Digital Competence Framework (DCF) skills across the school while ensuring that Online Safety remains at the heart of everything we do.

🔍 What Have They Been Up To?

The committee hasn't wasted any time! To kick off the year, the Digi Owls designed and launched a school-wide Google Quiz to check the "digital pulse" of our students. By gathering and analyzing this data, they’ve been able to identify exactly where their peers need the most support.

💡 The Big Discovery

The results are in! The Digi Owls discovered that many students are still a bit confused about age-appropriate apps and the legal age requirements for popular platforms.

What’s next? Armed with this information, the Digi Owls are now working on:

Creating clear, kid-friendly guides on app age ratings.
Leading assemblies to share their findings.
Helping everyone understand how to stay safe and responsible while having fun online.
